What is the hotels cancellation policy?
Each hotel may have a different reservation policy, but most of you can find flexible rates with the possibility of canceling between 24 to 72 hours before the Check In date or a non-refundable policy which does not allow modifications or cancellations.
In case of not showing up at the hotel, the following scenarios may occur:
- If the reserved rate has a flexible policy, the hotel will charge the first night as a penalty.
- If the reserved rate has a non-refundable policy, the hotel will charge 100% of the reservation.
I want to make 100% of the payment for my reservation. How can I do it?
In order to make the payment of 100% of your reservation, there are two ways to do so:
- You must contact the hotel so that they can generate a virtual payment link and be able to guarantee the reservation through this means.
- On the current page, a payment button will be enabled allowing you to complete a form that will direct you to the online payment platform.
In both scenarios, it is important to share the payment receipt with the reservations team of each hotel to validate that the transaction was successful and to be able to guarantee the reservation, otherwise we will not be able to apply the payment to the existing reservation.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, American Express, VISA, Mastercard credit cards, virtual payments through payment forms, consignments.
I have a promotional code, how can I use it?
To use your promotional codes you must enter the Tequendama Hoteles platform and in the reservation box in the section (PROMO CODE) enter the word or code provided, select the hotel and the period.
I am not a hotel guest. Can I use the spa?
Our wet area and spa are for the exclusive use of guests staying at the hotel.
I need to host a group of people, how can I do it?
These are some of the alternatives:
- Being able to reserve the number of rooms from our website.
- Contact our reservations team for further advice and special rates.
I would like to stay for several weeks in one of the Tequendama Hoteles, can I have a special rate?
We have special long-stay rates which will be enabled on our TEQUENDAMA HOTELES online sales portal. From there you must book more than 30 nights to be able to activate the special prices. If you do not find this rate available, we recommend that you contact our reservations team at each hotel according to your needs in order to meet your request.
How can I cancel or modify my reservation?
You can make any changes and cancellations from the section (My Reservation) at the top of the web. There you must complete some mandatory fields to complete the process.
If you are unable to carry out either of these two processes, you can connect our direct customer service team at each hotel.
Am I a public official and/or do I belong to the military, do I have any discounts?
It is correct, if you belong to one of these two entities you can access the following benefits:
- Military Forces: 25% on food and beverages (alcoholic beverages do not apply), special rate for accommodation in any of our hotels.
- Public function: 15% on food and beverages (alcoholic beverages do not apply), special rate for accommodation in any of our hotels.
It is important to mention that in order to access these discounts and benefits, a physical and valid accreditation from the entity to which you are registered must be presented. The benefit is for the exclusive use and only for the person who belongs to the entity, it is not a transferable benefit to other people.
How much is the value of VAT already for whom it applies?
All people residing in Colombia must pay VAT of 19% on the value of each reservation made in this medium and others, this as of January 1, 2023. It is important to mention that foreign or Colombian people not residing in the country are exempt from this 19% VAT, this if the purpose of the trip is: Tourist, participation in cultural, sporting, business, convention or cultural events, cruise-type maritime treatment tourist groups. To make this tax exemption effective, the passport must have the stamp with the PT code with a validity of 90 days, otherwise at the time of registration this VAT of 19% will be charged on the total value of the reservation.
Can I access preferential rates if I belong to a company or agency?
Yes, for them we are going to ask you for a series of documentation that proves the existence of the company or agency and in this way we can share our portfolio of special rates and services. Once the commercial agreement is made, you will be able to start enjoying the preferential rates offered by the properties of the Tequendama Hoteles group.
I made a reservation through an online agency, can I make a change or cancellation with the hotel?
All reservations made through online platforms (.com channels) must be managed and administered by the users who made them. The hotel will not be able to modify or cancel these reservations, since they were created under credentials that the hotel does not know. What we suggest is to contact the reservations team of each platform and request the modification and/or cancellation with them. The only reservations that we can manage are those made through our direct channels such as the website, reservation center, WhatsApp, telephone line and email.
Check-in & check out
What time can I arrive at the hotel?
The check-in time to the room is from 3:00 p.m., if you arrive before you can leave your luggage at the reception and enjoy our facilities and go making the necessary arrangements at the reception. We will look for a way to grant the room once we have it available. If you have an additional requirement to arrive much earlier than our usual check-in time, you must make the request with our reservations team so that they can confirm availability and if an additional charge for early check-in applies.
What time can I leave the room?
The time of departure of the room is before 12:00 noon. If this time is exceeded, additional charges may apply. If you have a special requirement to continue using the room until a certain time, the request must be made with the reception team to confirm availability and if this incurs an additional charge.
I have a food intolerance. Can I eat at the hotel buffet?
If you have any food intolerance or restriction, you must consult directly with the hotel, call the Call Center or write to us indicating your situation and it will be included in the observations of your reservation.
Can other people who are not included in my reservation check in?
Yes, these people must present their identity document and depending on the number of people a new room will be assigned. This request may generate changes in the value of the original reservation, including type of room, number of people and daily rate.
How do I get to Tequendama Hoteles hotels?
Tequendama Suites Bogotá
- By plane: From El Dorado International Airport (approximately 15 km)
- Bus: At the airport you can take a bus with the number K86, this will take you directly to the National Museum station, once there, you will leave through the exit on the south side and across the street you will find the hotel.
- Transfer service: If you want to add the transfer service to your reservation, you can add it once you make the reservation, remember to do it 24 hours in advance
- Taxi: If you are traveling from the airport, you can take a taxi directly there.
- By car: Leaving the airport, you will take Avenida El Dorado, you will walk for approximately 10 km, then you will take Avenida Caracas to the north and there you will walk for about 2 km, until you take Calle 31, there you will continue straight and take Carrera 10, finally arriving at your destiny
Ecohabs Tequendama Playa Cañaveral Parque Tayrona
- By plane: From Simón Bolívar International Airport – Santa Marta (approximately 53 km away)
- Bus: From the airport you will take a bus that will take you to the transport terminal or to the Santa Marta Market, after arriving at the market you will take a bus that goes to Palomino, don't worry, the bus can stop at the Tayrona National Park since it must go through there, then you cross the street and enter the park and there you can take a bus that leaves you near the hotel.
- Taxi: If you are traveling from the airport, you can take a taxi directly there, it will leave you in the Tayrona National Park and you will take the park buses that will leave you near the hotel
- By car: Leaving the airport you will take the ramp and you will join Santa Marta Ciénaga/ Avenida Troncal Del Caribe/ Carretera 90, continue straight towards Calle 23c/ Troncal del Caribe for approximately 2km, then you will find a roundabout and take the third exit towards to calle 41, in 1.3km you will find another roundabout and you will take the third exit in the direction of Mingueo - Santa Marta and there you will walk approximately 5.2 until you reach the Tayrona National Park, remember that this road has tolls.
Tequendama Hotel Campestre Villavicencio
By plane: From the Vanguardia – Villavicencio Airport (about 11 km)
Taxi: If you are traveling from the airport, you can take a taxi directly there
By car: Leaving the airport you will find a roundabout, you will take the third exit towards Vía Restrepo, go forward 1.6 km and turn left towards Avenida del Llano/Transversal 24, after walking 6.4 km you will find a roundabout and take the first exit and you will continue 1.1 km until you reach your destination.
Hotel Tequendama Medellín
- By plane: From José María Córdova Airport
- Taxi: If you are traveling from the airport, you can take a taxi directly there
- By car: Leaving the airport, take via Las Palmas, Oriente tunnel, continue through the Oriente tunnel for approximately 21.3 km, then take 33 avenue and railway avenue towards 50th street with Laureles avenue - Stadium until you reach your destination.
Rosario de Mar Ecohotel
- By plane: From Rafael Nuñez Airport - Cartagena
- By taxi: If you are traveling from the airport, you can take a taxi directly there, it will leave you at the La Bodeguita dock, there you can take the boats that will take you directly to the hotel.
- By boat: From Cartagena. You must go to the La Bodeguita dock and locate the boats that go to Isla Grande. Contact the number +57 310 8402355, where the reservation will be verified and you will be guided to the boat. You must take into account the following schedules for the service:
- Departure time In the morning at 7:30 AM, the boats will leave as spaces are filled.
- Return time In the afternoon at 2:30 PM, the boats will leave as the places are filled.
Marine Beach Club & Hotel
- By plane: From Rafael Nuñez Airport - Cartagena.
- By taxi: If you are traveling from the airport, you can take a taxi directly there, it will leave you at the La Bodeguita dock, there you can take the boats that will take you directly to the hotel.
- By boat: From Cartagena you must go to the La Bodeguita dock and locate the boats that go to Isla Grande. Contact the number +57 310 8402355 where the reservation will be verified and you will be guided to the boat. You must take into account the following schedules for the service:
- Departure time: In the morning at 7:30 AM, the boats will leave as spaces are filled.
- Return time: In the afternoon at 2:30 PM, the boats will leave as spaces are filled.

Do the hotels accept the entrance of animals?
In our hotels we accept the company of your animals, except for Ecohabs Tequendama Playa Cañaveral Parque Tayrona, since we cannot interfere with the fauna of the Tayrona National Park.
Is the WI FI free?
We have free WI FI for all our guests in all Tequendama Hoteles facilities.
Is the parking free?
Parking is free for our guests, with covered parking. This service is only included for guests and a parking space is granted per reservation.
Am I a minor and will I be staying without my parents or guardians?
It is not possible for minors under 18 years of age to stay alone in our facilities, they must always be accompanied by their parents or a guardian. If they are accompanied by a tutor, they must have a legal and authenticated authorization from the parents, otherwise they will not be able to use the hotel services.
